Meth-Fueled "Death Party" for terminally ill Wife...Duane Johnson

I don't make'em up, I just report on them...

According to a report from the Mankato Free Press (isn't that from an SNL skit Norm MacDonald did in the 90's?!), Debra Lynn Johnson was terminally ill, and had been living in a local nursing home before her husband checked her out of the facility and took her home, despite doctors’ requests that she remain under their care. Duane Johnson later told police that his wife had insisted he remove her from the treatment center so that she could spend her final hours elsewhere.

Once out of the nursing home, Mr. Johnson later told law enforcement that he and his wife had returned home to throw the “death party,” where they consumed methamphetamine, listened to her favorite song — Quiet Riot’s “Metal Health” — and had sex.

On Thursday of last week, Mr. Johnson phoned local authorities and told them that his wife had passed away.

When officers arrived at the home, they found the words “Death Parde God Hell” spray painted in red on the front door, as well as Mrs. Johnson’s body wrapped in a sheet at the top of the stairs, and Mr. Johnson, naked, scrubbing himself with bleach and soap.

WHAT?! Why not do that BEFORE you call the cops?! Oh...the meth...

Just....WOW!

"In addition to the gruesomely bizzare scene, police say they discovered a cache of 47 firearms belonging to Mr. Johnson, many of which were stolen. Police then arrested Mr. Johnson and charged him with felony counts of theft and receiving stolen property. "

I like it. When faced with imminent death, I'm surprised this approach is not more often used.

Some "Death Party Ideas"

- Rob a bank and hide cash for someone you know to find
- Take out a known criminal, animal abuser child molester...hell get 2 or 3 before you're caught.
- Break the world record for longest motorcycle jump
- And of course have a party and take toxic levels of drugs.

This story turns my stomach and makes me sad.

But she went out the way she wanted. It is sad that people die, and sometimes are terminal when they do-meaning lots of horrific pain. So who's to say she couldn't find a way to be out of pain, if only for those last moments, is wrong?

That's what the meth (and whatever else) was for. Heck, I don't know...it doesn't make much sense to me either.

I get that and my thoughts on it, of course, are a projection of my own feelings and love for my 'God' vs. meth. Hopefully the the sex was with her husband alone. I find beauty in love and marriage.

I am sorry she was ill but don't really care that a terminally ill person took their own life, I see that as mercy. Having lost the use of both my arms in an extremely excruciating way, I understand pain and trials and have contemplated the same many times over; I still do.

If I'm diagnosed with a terminal illness I would go crazy and party my ass off. I'd have multiple women in an orgy setting and do lines of coke off their firm asses. Meth is too fucked for me and I'll have to pass on that shit!

Would that be a good way to enter the afterlife though?

It makes me sad that the police can't let a man have a death party for his wife without having to search his house and throw him in jail.
