If this case sounds familiar, there was a similar case out of New Mexico in 2013. In that case the victim was awarded $1.6 million dollars, don't know who had to pay...the hospital or the police.

AND OMG! This was the SAME Hospital that was involved in the infamous 2013 attempted extraction of organs from a patient incorrectly pronounced dead!!!! I cannot believe it. Whatever you do, do NOT seek health care in Syracuse New York!
