Yup. That's what I experienced in a "past"/other life regression wherein I had committed suicide. I found myself in a monk's type of robe, head down with the hood pulled down over my head, and I was in deep contemplation. I was where I understand to be the Void...the field of potential. Interesting....  The specifics of the experience are unique to the individuated soul, of course. The familiarity I feel with you is indeed very strong...really, it makes me feel curious, but also light - as in weightless - in my heart. Very nice.  This familiarity you feel with me is in truth the familiarity you feel with who you fundamentally are. Well lovey, you do feel very much feel like soul kin.... it's always such a nice moment for me when I get to meet another of Us. I would very much like to upgrade your account.
