Locations of Your 23andMe DNA Relatives

I FIND IT STRANGE THAT OUT OF THE 5 MILLION PEOPLE ON 23 AND ME, I HAVE ONLY 976 RELATIVES.

I'm reluctant to send them my DNA.

Maybe they accidented the rest of them. Or sent their aliens to abduct them. Are you RH neg?

They limit the number of matches.

IT'S JUST SPIT. THEN THEY THROW IT OUT AFTER THEY TEST IT.

When you read it, you feel good because they say they dispose of it and they get you to send it with no name on the vial... which is what the scientists get... a vial with some number on it. no reason to keep if you're famous, because they cant see the name.

They get the box, and they remove the vial and throw away the box... then they send the numbered vial to the lab.

Then, when you do get results there is an option to share results with people possibly related, but by default it is set to off, and you have to press obvious buttons to activate that...

But you get to find out if you are .04 percent African, or less than 71 percent of all others tested for Neanderthal, with 260 Variants.

so that's .... unless i missed it, but i looked through that stuff alot and the ancestry too... ancestry dot ca or whatever...neither of them tell me.

but a nurse told me once that i am a universal donor.

and the wikipidia says if i'm a universal donor, then I'm O negative.
