Forget Fillings: New Study Shows How to Regrow Teeth

Excerpts:

What if teeth could instead repair themselves, independently regenerating decayed material?...

...

To some extent, teeth already do this. When the inner pulp of a tooth is exposed, mesenchymal stem cells—which can differentiate to become cartilage, bone or fat cells—mobilize to form tooth-specific cells called odontoblasts. These secrete dentine, a reparative substance that seals off the tooth pulp from the external environment.

This natural process is enough to repair minor fissures below the tooth’s surface enamel, but doesn’t cut it when it comes to cavities. The new treatment involves accelerating the tooth’s natural dentine production to repair larger defects.

...

Scientists are currently moving to testing the procedure in rats, whose teeth are bigger than those of mice. If successful, human trials could start later this year...

Oh wow! That's interesting T2 :-)..

Believe it or not, but I've had a bottom left wisdom tooth pulled 3 times now and there is another growing back in again 5 months later...

This means that this is my 4th tooth coming in... I didn't think this was possible...

I'll be getting this one pulled too... hope another doesn't grow back...

It's interesting I stumbled across this as I was just thinking to myself, how could another one be growing in...

I thought we only had 2 sets of teeth.. milk teeth and then adult...

Very strange... the dentist thinks it's even stranger...

I had to have extra "freak" teeth pulled as well, but they sure as heck didn't grow back!

That's wild.

Re: Forget Fillings: New Study Shows How to Regrow Teeth
My grandfather started having headaches at 72 years old. I took him to his doctor who told him there was nothing medically wrong with him, but recommended seeing a dentist. My grandfather took out his dentures and said, I think its too late for that...

2 weeks later I took him to the dentist and he took x-rays and found out the source of the headaches was he was teething. He was pushing a third set of teeth. He had them pulled (over a couple months) and that was the end of the headaches...

That's the thing, I'm not missing any :-)

I look after my oral hygiene well but this one wisdom tooth keeps growing back at the bottom left...

It's very painful so I need to have it pulled again...

This will be the 4th time this one has grew or is growing back in..

This time, I'm going to have the dentist take the root from there.. no room in my mouth for anymore teeth...

On my xray, I have another set ready to come in if I ever need them, apparently :-)

It's wild!

I have spent a small fortune on my teeth over the years.

Whenever I say to dentists that your teeth regenerate due to brushing them they always look at me like I am strange.

Re: Forget Fillings: New Study Shows How to Regrow Teeth
Have you ever heard of tertiary dentition? It seems that those few who have reached extreme old-age, 110+ years, have reported a new phenomenon, new teeth growing where they have since long been gone! It seems that Creator has provided a command, coded deep within genome that provides for a new set of teeth every hundred years or so. This would have been known to and useful for our Old Testament fathers who reached 800, 1000, or more years of age. Now, we must learn how to stimulate this response in our old, worn teeth. Praise Be to the LORD who CREATED us!

Yes this has been in the works for awhile. Very exciting development, hopefully we'll be hearing very soon of results from human trials

Here's a more recent article from January 15, 2018:

"The next revolution in dental care is about to begin
New high-tech treatments may be able to repair cavities without fillings and even regrow entire teeth"

we are now seeing with incarnation of celestial beings babies born with larger heads that normal... for bigger brains.. and some of you should be examining your own heads where your sutures are to look for expansion of them.. because some of you have growing brains even as older adults that need more space and your sutures will soften down to expand . I have many expanded sutures on my head... first started noticeably on the rear crown area... Even the sides of my head above my ears where there are NO sutures has expanded.. which make my ear sets grow tighter... my skull above my ears used to be straight up and down and now I have substantial cupping.

As people live longer.. there will be periods of skull growth from brain expansion...

Teeth do repair themselves if the cavitation isn't too large.

There has been a number of times I've been told there were cavities in my children's teeth that needed filling and I didn't do it. Then, a year or so later, we would go to the dentist for a check-up and cleaning and be told there were no cavities.
