It also happens most of the time in populations that are stressed and overpopulated but yes you are correct. I remember places in Fla. That hunting was banned for a while the population hit the stress point and this disease eliminated a % of the population. A couple of years later they did limited permit hunts to harvest part of the population and the disease has not resurfaced. Now in Jellystone there could be something enviromental that is causing the heards to stress . Like higher Co2 or other things related to the volcano . |
