Deadly disease killing animals in Yellowstone
For the first time in large numbers, Chronic wasting disease is killing all kinds large game animals in Yelliwtone National Park, very similar to mad cow disease. That's their story and they are sticking to it.

Hmm, btw it seems that a big rock there, finally collapsed

Rock Outcrop At Grand Teton National Park Finally Collapses

Remember that big rock outcrop above Hidden Falls at Grand Teton National Park that staff this past summer were concerned might be getting ready to break off? Well, it did.
...
In July an emergency closure was implemented in the Hidden Falls area for human safety due to the expanding crack in the large rock buttress above the Hidden Falls viewing area.

Unfortunately that is natures way of balancing the population. Maybe if hunting was allowed to thin the heard/s then this disease would disappear .

no this is much bigger than that, this disease cannot be

eradicated and spreads like wildfire. It cant even be

treated.

It also happens most of the time in populations that are stressed and overpopulated but yes you are correct. I remember places in Fla. That hunting was banned for a while the population hit the stress point and this disease eliminated a % of the population. A couple of years later they did limited permit hunts to harvest part of the population and the disease has not resurfaced.
Now in Jellystone there could be something enviromental that is causing the heards to stress . Like higher Co2 or other things related to the volcano .

That disease is just about everywhere in the deer population. Not surprised it is there either.

I'd be looking at the corn chops that hunters put out to deer to start. Where did it come from? What is put in it?

This wasting disease has been around several years now and is spreading. It's like deer aids or something.

It's from mold spores from the musty feed they throw in piles on the ground for the deer.

Gross.
