Don’t be so dramatic. No one is nuking anyone or threatening that. I’m telling you this is not the 18th Century. The argument that you would go to war with your government if an assault weapons ban was in place is ludicrous and inflames the gun debate. Which is what you want.

Swallows is VERY wrong about the government winning a war against patriots. First of all, the minute they use nukes or otherwise bomb a town into oblivion, they would create twice as many resisters as they destroyed. Eventually, they would be faced with destroying the host they parasitize if they chose the route of destruction. If they try to police us with the military, they will face guerrilla warfare ACROSS AN ENTIRE CONTINENT. They couldn't even hold Vietnam or Iraq, two comparatively small countries. They don't have enough operational combat personnel to police us, and we would not face them head on. We would blow their heads off when they got out of their tanks to take a leak. We would find out where the politicians live and blow their heads off when they're out front watering the flowers. We would kill them when they're eating lunch. We would destroy their infrastructure - their electrical substations, power distribution lines, water supply, etc. Their Democratic controlled cities would quickly become ungovernable cesspools of rioting. They would lose badly. If I didn't have a family, I would be praying for such a scenario because it would flush many of the turds like Swallows down the toilet. Personally, I would enjoy sending this demon back to Hell.

Even if he said he's being sarcastic, he was saying this publicly.
That is not the behavior of a congressman.

His duty is to represent his constituents. I don't think his constituents want government to kill them because the congressman disagrees with the constitution he's sworn to uphold.
