You are insane if you watched that video and came away with the opinion that he "whacked" her.

It was Acosta's arrogance, not his grabbing the mic, that was the actual way he "whacked" her. His snottiness is greater than it otherwise would be because he's never cited for his liberalism/leftism/libtardism.

When he actually inserted his idiotic liberalism into his questions/replies to the president, and started debating the meaning of "invasion," it was Trump's lack of ideological candor that made the supposed White House Q&A press conference a pile of shit.

Trump should have responded, "Acosta, you're so foolishly liberal, your supposed 'compassion' is about as hollow as Christina Ford's claims and meaningful as 'we came, we saw, he died'."

He's more famous than ever. It won't harm his career because his career is effectively being a heckler pretending to be a journalist. He's now a famous heckler. If anything, getting banned only makes him more prominent.

Sounds like a whiny little bitch to me. Was he never taught that actions have consequences? He thought that he'd be viewed by the Public as a hero for "standing up" to President Trump but all he's done is burn his bridges with all of his White House Press colleagues. He has to work with them, and they can basically squelch him and make his professional life a living hell if they so choose.

Even if "his career is done", he can squeeze another year or two out of it by going on talk-show tours and writing the "tell-all" book which seems to be the expected modern-day Life Path at the moment.

Ironically Trump has only given him name recognition. Nobody even knew this fools name before Trump.

I haven't watched CNN since the 90's But I still know who Acosta is, and you probably do too if you think about it! If you've EVER seen ANY of the White House Press Conferences, he is the "reporter" who manages to be seated right in front of the camera , who interrupts, shouts, argues, insults and otherwise attempts to constantly co-opt the proceedings and turn it into The Jim Acosta Show.

I'd hope so. But there is so much slimy liberalism/leftism dominating the mindset of CNN, that I wonder if anti-Acosta sentiment actually reflects more than a fraction of the employees of that crap out of Atlanta.

I know if Acosta were a conservative always grandstanding and heckling leftwing Obama, I'd have been turned off by Acosta and started sympathizing with Trump's predecessor. But I don't know if people of the left have the sanity and logic to react in a similar way when the tables are turned, towards a left-leaning Acosta and right-leaning Trump.

I'm very skeptical in 2018 because my opinion of people of the left has crashed and burned over the past two years.

Acosta's career is over because, just watch, Trump will stop the daily press briefings and hold two formal news conferences a year. The WH will just put out press releases and these, holier than thou, White House Correspondents will be sitting around with their thumb up their butt. They will no longer be grandstanding. AND, they will eventually all come around to blaming Acota for screwing up their great gig.

Trump tweets will always be news while the reporters can go rotate on a church steeple.

Acosta the ACCOSTER is obviously a MADMAN. He would make great fodder for the likes of SNL and all those latenight yak shows. Hell, those shows may even increase viewership if they started dragging on the antiTrumpers. I know I would watch. But seeing as they gave Obama and family and staff a free pass all those years I haven't watched them nor do I even know their names.
