Arrests made in rhoden family massacre

In talking to the deputies down here they seem super confident that BCI got the right people. Imagine being the type of person that could sneak in and murder 8 people as a family activity.

Odd because I live very close to this. The mother worked in a local store. Never knew the rest but heard the name. I am not sure either family was really pillars of the community but I dont know the truth either. Tragic no matter how you look at it.

The report in September revealed Christopher Rhoden Sr. -- the father of three people killed that day -- was shot nine times and, it was noted, his body was decomposed “more than all the others.” He appeared to have suffered a defensive wound to his right forearm and that another bullet went through a door before hitting him, the Enquirer reported at the time. His body was found in the back bedroom of a trailer.

Gary Rhoden, Christopher Rhoden Sr.’s cousin, was also found dead in the same trailer, according to the newspaper. The report indicated a gun was pressed to his head, according to the newspaper.

In the mug shots they look like serious trouble. I'm glad they found who killed all of those people.

Glad there have been some arrests in this case.

Custody would explain killing everyone in the family.


I mean - it doesn't - but if they wanted the child - and didn't want her transferred to other family on the mother's side - then I can see where their misplaced … you know what I mean.

Sometimes we see parent's taking their own lives with their children's because they won't see their children with someone else if their partner moves on.


It did seem that with the three youngest being left unharmed - the three little babies and children - it was always possibly going to be about who got hold of the children - three or four involved - can't remember now.

Yea. I get it. My ex got custody of my son in our divorce and it broke me. She didnt love him. Only did it to hurt me. He grew up with her mother for a few years until I was able to prove that and win custody. I can say that bad things crossed my mind over this. Never harming my son. But I wouldn't have minded receiving news of her death. But we ha e a switch. A filter that let's us fantasize and not act on it.

I have seen a lot of death. Thank God it never got easy for me. These people seemed to have no issues. A family of sociopaths.

Steven Avery illegal jailing is the standard.

The family being charged say they are innocent and the real killers are still out there.

It is one of the saddest things - separation and alienation.

I think with some people there are dark things that run deeper: the whole puritanistic secretive program of targeting children from divorced/ separated/ single parent/ orphaned - whereby the children become recognised as a sub-class of the white swan philosophy - it gives you a whole new perspective re aspects like - those born to the "true" first parents etc - biblical aspects present also there - instead of seeing every child as equally valuable regardless of heritage, ancestry, situation etc.


The viability of the child has driven wars and religions for far too long now. Birthright etc.

Now those two babies,(Sophia and the eldest Wagner boy's child),are in state custody. In the system so to speak.
The Wagner family deserve death just as they gave it,
and torment just as those poor babies have to face!

Only Chris Jr's 3 yr old is with his mom.

Actually it was six family members that were arrested. Two mothers of the ones that did the killings were arrested for a cover up. Wonder what the new evidence was that they recently found? Guess we will have to wait till the trial...

This reminds me of the quadruple homicide in New Jersey here recently.

A law enforcement source said Tuesday night that the gunshot wound suffered by Keith Caneiro was not self-inflicted.
