Matters to me not...
I never should have gotten a FB page - its impossible to delete but I haven't used it in 2 years.
Apparently, they won't delete it until it has no activity for some period of time. You checking it, your friends checking it or even using it to sign into another account (like a rewards or grocery program) resets the clock.
Quoting: Bright Side you can deactivate it and your page becomes invisible. That's what I did... pretty sure no one is checking up on me at this point. You are supposed to be able to delete it too but I haven't looked into it yet.
