Just watched 60 minutes expose of facebooks tracking and how detailed their database is (which you can request under european law a full print out of your info) One guy who used facebook sparingly for 3 years got a print out of 810 pages of his tracked history. They were tracking all of his messages, where he was when we wrote them, if he was moving how fast he was moving, his GPS position if he was using his phone, his preference for which politics and which advertisements he was likely to engage with, his messaging style his, his percentage of correctly spelled words, which groups he was likely affiliated with or cares about. It is extremely creepy how much they keep track of people. You are a moron if you still use facebook for anything today

There are several facets to my life and job that unfortunately translate into people looking me up on Facebook. It's an albatross I can never be rid of. I have no photos or posts. I've deleted all I could. But I will never truly be done of it. The other issue is there are several facets of my life and job that are helped by a robust social media presence. So do use twitter and Instagram. Unfortunately, even Pinterest all ties back to Facebook. I truly feel trapped by Facebook and like I said, it's been dead to me for 2 years.
