I am a retired ATC'r so I didn't care to listen to the whole thing. never did find the encounter on the recording, but it is a good article.

In August of 2009 my friend and I saw 2 huge white lights rush across the sky so fast it was unreal. It was at night and we were both sober and looking out my sun roof we still talk about it to this day. The lights stayed parallel the whole time. Came from the northeast traveling south west. Long Island new york
