Building a Camera That Can See Wifi (AKA your own Radio Telescope)
Ran across this on YT - very cool, for those of the hacker/maker predeliction..

"What would it be like if our eyes could see more colors? We may never be able to answer that, but we can build devices that can do the work for us. Over the last three weeks we've been building a DIY radio telescope tuned to 2.44 Ghz which is right in the middle of the wifi band. With it we hoped to take a picture of a building and see all the wifi routers inside it."

ThoughtEmporium also has a video discussing how you can receive imagery & data directly from GOES & Himawari 8 HRIT satellites. Might be useful to hacker/maker types who have the necessary skills (Dr AstroMutt) - be good to have some alternative sources for near real-time satellite images when the govt decides to further restrict what the public has access to....

Re: Building a Camera That Can See Wifi (AKA your own Radio Telescope)
If this (or a similar) DIY contraption can be tuned to the '5G' part of the spectrum, it would also be a good home-made tool to help in identifying (and "dealing with", if need be) all these tiny 5G transmitters that will soon be poppuping up, disguised as mailboxes and other items one would not normally suspect of delivering dangerous payloads of EM pollution/radiation...
