Here where I am from it is kidney cancer, lymphoma, leukemia, pancreatic cancer and melanoma as well as another rare and deadly form of skin cancer. While California has its geography much different that ours, from trees to landscape and definitely geographic weather climate. We will see it by geographic specifics due to diverse habitats humans are living in which controls their enviroment that controls their way of living in it. While California may see less lung cancers the lower one is out of the stats of different and even higher ones than lung cancer. Viral related ones require environments suited for them and hosts in those environments as well. Age related is no more seen as being more leaning to the older it is seen in. The most precious things are the simple things in life, always present in the simplest of minds. |

But thats not virus or bacterial related "The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title." Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity. The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. The State’s long-term, aggressive tobacco control programs are cited as the primary reason. Quoting: Face Palmer Eearly adoption of tobacco control efforts in California led to fewer people ever smoking, reduced the amount used by those who do smoke and helped smokers quit at a younger age — when their risk of developing lung cancer is lowest. As a result, say the authors of a new study published online October 10 in Cancer Prevention Research , lung cancer deaths are 28 percent lower in California compared to the rest of the country and the gap is widening each year by almost a percentage point. Researchers at University of California San Diego School of Medicine and Moores Cancer Center say California’s approach has been particularly effective in discouraging young people from starting to smoke. The state has achieved success by aggressively responding to early evidence linking smoking to lung cancer with policies aimed at discouraging smoking and then, in 1988, by passing a voter initiative to set up the nation’s first comprehensive statewide tobacco control program run by the California Department of Public Health. I think the lower lung cancer rates are because they have (had) the freshest air to breathe. Winds blow west to east across the United States. They has the ocean to filter and dissipate everything coming off off Asia giving them the purest air in the country. Fukushima kinda ruined that but it's my theory anyway. |
