No one else needs to climb that half dome, anyway, it's been done every conceivable way. Filling the valley with lava and evening it out would make the area easier to navigate, if less scenic. Quoting: Asmodée That would be Yosemite, not Yellowstone. Half Dome is in California not Wyoming. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 76580065 United States 10/09/2018 03:54 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Pumping down water is just going to turn into superheated water vapor (steam). Under increased pressure from expanding gas this will probably cause the eruption were all worried about. Quoting: Elison These fuckers know this. Even drilling hundreds of pipe into the area wouldn't evacuate enough pressure to stop an eruption, trying to speed up the process imo. It'd be a great way to reduce the population of the planet thats for sure. This ^^^ And Scientologists won't settle for anything less than extinction, since they are convinced we are trapped here. You know that saying, "if you're for population reduction, why don't you be the first to volunteer?" Oh, they would, if they thought it would end the cycle. But they're convinced that they'll just get reborn into the trap that they can't escape. They are definitely volunteering to die, but they have to destroy ALL of humanity in one fell swoop to prevent themselves from being trapped here again through rebirth. They view total human extinction as a prison break. Fucking psychos are the ultimate doomsday cult, and they'll stop at nothing. |

They had this giant flask that was under vacuum pressure. It was simulating the volcano under the ground. So they had a liquid which was the magma, the vacuum, the bunsen burner for the heat. Then they showed what happened when the vacuum pressure hit the outside air. SWOOSH! It erupted big time. In less than a second the whole thing practically exploded. The scientist said..."a super volcano does the same thing only a trillion times more powerful." It was scary. Only a fool would drill into a super volcano. Ruprecht? Do you want the genital cuff? |

And this guys was saying that they are going to create an ice age with the deepest hole drilled in the world, down in Brazil or something. Was also about getting to oil or gas or warm air or something. Anyway, he was really convincing that night. But heck if I know what the video was called. In any event, drilling past a certain depth taps into like, you can say, the inner tube of the bicycle tire. You can drill into the outer tube, but once you puncture that inner tube, it's game over. Something about it will throw the equalibriulm of the earth totally out of whack. Quoting: MyPillow It is not cheap. Look at the cost on Hawaii. And Yellowstone is under more pressure, and is many times more volumous. Let's not forget, it's overdue by about 60,000 years, and this would greatly increase the odds that it would kick-start it. They know what the outcome is. Not profits, just for the pure evil of it. There are many more ways to harvest energy with absurdly little cost to the environment or people. |
