Live coverage: Hundreds wait to enter Landers Center for Trump visit to Mississippi

3:40 p.m. — Cars lining up for parking at the Landers Center have caused heavy traffic outside the center.

As hundreds waited outside the front doors at 3:30 p.m., vendors trawled the crowd, Charlotte-based Tim Engelskirchen among them, a wagon of blood-red knockoff "Make America Great Again" caps in tow.

"Half price! 10 bucks!" Engelskirchen is a pro, saying this marks his 150th rally. And the business of following Trump is good.

"Everybody loves Trump," he said, getting some nods from nearby people. "And my hats are half price."

2:30 p.m. — Though spirits are still generally high, several people have begun to complain about the lack of vendors selling cold water.

The heat index remains in the 90s, and few clouds offer respite for those lined up to see Trump.

At least one ambulance arrived for a crowd member. It's unclear if the medical emergency was heat related.
