Christians, please! Next 7 days please commit to prayer and fasting!

I feel called to post this...I believe that American Christians need to pray for our nation for the next 7 days...and fast if you can....

where two or more are gathered in My Name....

Set an alarm on your phone a couple times a day to remind yourself....

5AM, 11AM, 2PM, 5PM and 9PM... whatever works for you...why not 5 times a day, 8 times a day....doesn't matter...

Consider fasting....at least during the day....kind of like a Christian Ramadan....so to speak...Commit to our faith, at least for these next 7 days...but even if you can't fast, please pray!

I think about all the evil people posting Evil things about Trump, spells and whatnot....all the negativity proves the inverse...that Jesus is real!

Praying for our nation to be delivered from all this wickedness....

It's like a Mandela effect unfolding by the hour....the choices we make now can affect the future of us all!

If there is such a thing as the Butterfly effect..(not the horror movie) but that small thing in turn influence strong ones, how much more so can our prayers change things...

Romans 8:28 and :39...

And watch what you say and do...think before you speak....

A blessing sent. Can't fast as I am always making and cooking\tasting food and the smell is from God's produce at work.

Don't fast fest with family bring love together around family table enjoy each other this extends the love as every person at that table walks away with love that energy is better chance think.

OP, just give a time to pray so everyone can sort out time zones please. I have no issue with fasting. But I do like the communion of prayers all for the same purpose, all at the same time. Where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name...what about when thousands are gathered in my name....

For our children and grandchildrens sake do this as OP has asked, our church has an hour every sunday where we gather to pray for our president govt and country, and if you cant make it or are a shut-in, you can pray along from 6-7 pm but THATS NOT ENOUGH, we need round the clock prayers now; or evil will win.

If you dont have a Bible, look up Psalm 91(He who dwelleth in the shadow of the LOrd...") My Grammie swore by this one for the greatest protection.
If you can say the rosary do so, the meditations on the life of Christ therein are pleasing to the Lord.

If you dont know how to pray, in your home, in your car, in your backyard or in any Christian Church thats open, just talk to God as you would your own Father and tell him how much trouble we are in...how we fear for our childrens future and we need his help.

Look up the Hedge Prayer, to put a hedge of protection around BK and Trump.

Do you really honestly believe that the Almighty some how will listen to your prayer instead of the other 10.9 billion people on earth.

Reality is the only existence. There is no magical bearded man up on the clouds tuning in each day to listen to little man who is not pure in heart. Jesus was the last one to walk the earth who was pure in heart, it’s how he became a yogi and could manipulate matter and spirit.

Surely you know that that one must be absolutely pure in heart and no one is.

There are three types of fasts commonly practiced:

Partial fast – Described in the book of Daniel where for three weeks he abstained only from “delicacies,” meat and wine (Daniel 10:3).

Supernatural fast – These are total fasts--no food (solid or liquid) and no water. Paul went on an absolute fast for three days following his encounter with Jesus (Acts 9:9). Moses and Elijah engaged in a supernatural absolute fast of forty days (Deuteronomy 9:9; 1 Kings 19:8). This kind of fast should be done with great care. Our bodies cannot go without water for more than three days.

Complete fast – Water or juice fasting, especially when fasting for an extended period. Juice fasts will provide you with more energy than water-only fasts and still lead you into the humbling experience of denying your desire for solid, chewable food.
