With a thumbtack and 1/2 hour of practice, anyone can pass a lie detector or so scramble the results as to make them useless.

The signature looks nothing like the letter. It looks like 3rd grader wrote it, but the signature is crisp and neat.

These polygraphs are a joke. No more than 50-60% accurate.

Easy to fool and even easier to make someone look guilty or innocent.

I think we should look into the people who gave her the test. But I'm sure they have no agenda.

I asked this on another thread - If your name has been legally changed, and you sign what now First Name Middle Name (no surname because its been changed) is the signature valid? Incomplete? Weird that she signed it that way

I agree, that’s odd.

Just my opinion, but if she signed with her maiden name and had been using her maiden name consistently and/or for business purposes, then it implies that she agrees to whatever it was she signed. I think a judge would rule that way.

Thanks for the info! With all the underhanded sneakiness going on, it wouldn't have surprised me if the signature was a "get out of jail free" card if this didn't go well

I have taken three of them within the last few years - so I am kind of a pro at it now. I would like to see the questions etc.

And I will vehemently argue the validity of lie detector tests.

Doesn’t mean this one is real ... I’d like to see the guy who did it and see his reviews.

He worked within the FBI? Well there you go - when Kavenaugh is confirmed the swamp draining begins. I can see how easily the FBI would be able to use him to their advantage. I am not buying any of it.

I’ve taken several polygraph test for Law Enforcement jobs, both Local and Federal. And I can tell you, the actual test that measures involuntary physical responses is totally useless, and any claim that it can determine truth or deception is total BS. Which is why those results can not be used in court. So anyone presenting a polygraph summary as evidence of truth telling is entirely full of shit.

What the polygraph machine is, is a prop. It’s used to make the subject uncomfortable. The real “test” is the pre-interview, off the machine, where the examiner goes over the questions with the subject. There are then, during the examination, several other instances, where the examiner will revisit certain questions, OFF the machine. Trying to convince the subject, that there must be something they are hiding, pretending the whole time, the machine is showing some “issues” with those questions. The entire examination on and off the machine can take several hours, as the examiner tries repeatedly to get the subject to admit to something they are suspected of.

The ONLY’result of the entire test, that can be used against the subject, is what they admit to having done, during these “breaks”, while off the machine. None of the machine outputs can be used against the subject, because they are totally subjective and prove nothing.

Absolutely...and this is why they are inadmissable in court.

The problem with this polygraph is that its asking about the truthfulness of her statement.

She could have written the 1st sentance, that she went to a party when young, took the polygraph and then added the rest of the statement after the polygraph.

You have to ask them the specific questions during the test.

How did she get to Maryland to take the test just a few weeks ago? Isn't she afraid to fly?
