Transgender paedophile Michelle Lewin has been moved to a female prison. Lewin, born Shaun Pudwell was jailed indefinitely in 2007 for grooming girls. Some of the 400 women in the same jail are said to be 'terrified' of the move.

A transgender paedophile has been moved to a women's prison despite her history of grooming underage girls.

Female inmates are said to be 'terrified' of the appearance of Michelle Lewin, 51, at HMP Peterborough, after she was given legal certification of being female.

Lewin, born Shaun Pudwell, was jailed in 2007 for grooming underage girls and is now awaiting gender reassignment surgery.

Yep it's starting. I worked at a juvenile detention center and my unit of ten girls had the institution's first transgender client sharing a common female space. He was 17, over six feet tall, not a drop of hormones in him, just a big strong young man with a little thin ponytail stuck to the back of his head. And this is a place where the shower is an open room with nothing but a curtain separating it from the rest of the unit. We never had any problems with him because this was in essence just a gay male living with a pack of girls, but I can say that he never fit in with the female flock and was always a very dramatic and confrontational outsider.

The only issue we had with him that the administration had to get involved in was when he realized that if he talked in his "male" voice it would send the rest of the girls into hysterical giggling and flirting fits. He was then informed that if he wanted to stay in the female unit he had to present as a female at all times and could not go back and forth for attention.
