User ID: 76676722 United States 09/09/2018 09:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is the time of year I start thinking about cooking hearty meals. Quoting: Storm* I would say chicken enchiladas and chili are my two favorites to cook using my personal recipes. I'd love some new ideas. LOL I invented the pot roast pot last night. It was very cool in the NE last night. So I made a bottom round pot roast with the usual suspect ingredients and added some white turnips and Porcini mushrooms. The whole event took place in a smallish cast iron caldron. 3 plus hours in when it came time to serve I decided to get daring and not slice or plate. I put the pot in the middle of the table and we served ourselves and pulled the beef with our forks. (like butter) my wife said. The side dishes are up too you. Kinda like that Asian hot pot thing.Pot roast Pot. silly knowledge is a deadly friend, when no one sets the rules. The fate of all mankind I see is in the hands of fools.... |
