15 bean soup, Cajun style with ham hocks

I've never tried chicken divan. Sounds good!



I love bean soup! I make it a couple of times a year. A crockpot is the best way to cook it!

Find a recipe with curry, mayonnaise, Cheese, broccoli, lemon juice, chicken, cream of chicken soup. (From memory).

Something about the curry and mayo. Best smelling meal ever. My mother made it when I was a kid ... She had Richard Nixon's recipe iirc.

Thank you! I can see this being added to my list of favorites. Plus I needed something less common to bring to the pot luck at work coming up. Of course I'll practice first.

I can't claim it as my own...but, I make a Mean Texas Spicy Chili with corn chips sprinkled with mozzarella and cheddar cheese dusted off with parmesan.

In colder weather we like to make soups with grilled cheese. So the three we uasually make, I make a killer cheesy potato soup with bacon bits, vegetable soup, and chicken dumpling soup.

Slow cooked pork roast with onions and apples, served over mashed potatoes

Pork tenderloin, braised cabbage with bacon, pierogi

Coq au vin (either made with red wine or in Alsatian style with riesling)

All from scratch, pasta y fagioli with homemade meatballs, healthy version of chicken 'n dumplings, vegetable soup like Campbell's used to sell, "cream" of broccoli soup, pot roast, French dip sandwiches, roast chicken & homemade stuffing, vegetarian stuffing casserole.

These are all great ideas! I love cooking. It's probably my most expensive "hobby".

I used to make spaghetti sauce all the time. I also make salsa that everyone seems to love. But I haven't grown tomatoes in a while (I know, I didn't bring them in in time lol) and store bought ones are not good. Time to hit the farmers market and start back up.

HP brown sauce goes well with Cornish pasty. No need to add it to the mix. Keep it modular.

I would love to see how others make their spaghetti sauce. I love mine ... As everyone does theirs.

Brocolli soup. When it gets to winter. Buy a blue stilton if you can. Brocolli. Chicken stock/leek etc. Brown bread. Really nice.
