Let's say the NYT OP-ED Leaker IS VP Pence..What does Pres.Trump do?

It's really not too difficult a situation to manage.

If VP Pence is/was the leaker, the way to deal with him would be to marginalize him. Completely keep him in dark and take him out of visibility and of the ongoings in Oval Office.

Then drop him from the ticket in 2020.

It's fake. It was written with too much flair and purpose. Just a dramatic narrative to mislead.

Precisely what I was thinking, and probably a whole lot more people, this is the perfect set up/spanner in works scenario.

If he's thick it was him - if he's clever he wouldn't have used his common expression lodestar and it's someone setting him up.

Pence would have to be a complete idiot to put loderstar in, if it really was him. I would never believe that a person who climbed as far as to become a vice-president is so stupid.

That op-ed wasn't written by Pence. Pence has the most to gain by the removal of Trump and if that's what he wanted he would never reveal himself to the lefties at the Times.
The Times wants the whole administration out, the left is more scared of Pence than Trump. They would betray Pence in a heartbeat and Pence knows that.

The person who wrote this is someone who either knows the Times will protect their identity or is confident the public will side with them if they are outed. Pence is well aware the left wants him gone right along with Trump.

Also, the author of the op-ed is an original never-Trumper not a lefty or anyone with Trump from the get-go.

A polygraph won’t work accurately on a sociopath. They are incapable of expressing true emotion.
