Like, 38% of voters, not remotely half of the country, so it makes quite a bit of sense. I assume they have some pod of whizkids somewhere who worked the numbers and decided this is the best course of action for their company - megacorps don't suddenly decide to take a political stance based on how they're feeling that day.

This will have gone up and down the chain from sales up to CEO and come back with positive numbers, so that's the course of action they take. That's just business. Someone burning their Nikes on youtube will be forgotten in a week, people still need shoes, and they'll get some marginal % of increase on their Q3. The CEO will buy a new car with the bonus for increasing earnings. This is not a value transaction, it's just business.

I have NEVER owned a pair of Nike, they are OVER-PRICED by about $200. I do have a few Nike shirts, but those were bought at fire sales. No reason to burn them, they make nice car wax rags.

Personally I like NB to work out in, much more comfortable and you can get em on sale for about $30 bucks
