I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I lost my dog last year, she was almost fifteen years old. I know how you feel. However, he will be with you again. I am convinced God keeps our furry children for us so we can be reunited with them when we pass. I always imagine my dog’s bark will be the first thing I hear when I get there. Hugs to you.

The only time my grandsons saw me cry is when my dog "Tuffy" died. I know he waiting for me at "rainbow bridge". Tuffy was with me 24/7 365x10 yrs. took along time to get over losing him.

I am so sorry, that is such a horrible thing to go through.

I have a 4 year old pug I love dearly and he is always with me. He talks and is such a cuddle bug. Pugs don't live as long as some other breeds and I dread the day this happens to me.

I strongly believe that we see them on the other side after we die though.

know how you feel buddy, so did mine this morning. he has been very sick for the last couple weeks and was barely breahting the last few days and sometime last night, he must of stopped. he was not able to walk the last 2 days, but i thought that somehow he would pull through it. had been giving him natural herbs to try to heal him. he had a golf ball size round tumor on his chest under his right front paw and the funny thing is, the tumor had in fact shrunk to half its original size so i really thought that he would make it. it must of been too much detox to fast for his system to handle, he was only a small dog, a peke and he was about 12 years old. i played 'amazing grace' song all day on the youtube crying over him, better to get it out of the way all at once

I love the fact that someone posts about a dumb animal dying and everyone's all like "So sorry" and being nice, yet when a true American hero (John McCain) dies everyone is being completely rude, hateful and disrespectful. You guys have your priorities are jacked up. I swear with you people.

My thoughts are with you brother...my boxer is 12 now and I dread the day...we went for a walk today and he can only do about 10 min. he loves it tho. semper fi brother

OP, PetSmart usually runs good sales after Labor Day. It’s just a dog man, you can get a new one. Sorry for your loss though.

for anyone else out there with sick dogs/cat/animals, you can give them ginseng and astragalus combination and it will work wonders. it may make them a bit sleepy at first until thier energy picks up, but it will slowly heal them. but it will not work if they are being given any type of pharma drugs/chemo or anything like that.

So sorry for your loss. I pray that God keep his hands on you and your family as you try to move on.
Rest assured your little friend is in a much better place now.

Yeah He was a German Shepard and Lab mix. Looked more like a Shepard. Brown and Black. Adorable looked like a smokey bear. This sucks. I love that little guy so much. The bond that we had was something that would seem unbelievable. And now he is no longer with me. He is my best friend my little brother since I have no siblings and my child since I have no children. This is gonna be difficult to get through without him.

It's always so sad when they leave us, but you'll meet again someday. Someone is taking care of him on the other side.
