I agree, McCain couldn't let his life just fade into other news reports, his self worth must have been over the top, no doubt all the swooning over him by the media types and other politicians was probably written by McCain as well.

I think this man showed his total disregard for the position of senator he held he did not resign when he found out about his "brain cancer" so he basically stayed in power to stay relevant and to stick it up at President Trump, no way did he fill his role as senator fully, what a jerk.

Rommel was an intelligent and very articulate general that lost faith in Hitler in the middle of the war. He started to work with an underground cabal to roust Hitler from power and when an attempt was made to Bomb Adolph, Hitler suspected Rommel was involved and later had him "Commit Suicide". BTW, He didnt know about the slave labor camps till 1943. Contrast this with the POS RINO traitor ( to his political party and USA), HE IS NOT GETTING A STATE FUNERAL, RATHER, HE IS GETTING A DEEP STATE FUNERAL.

I agree and for those that know history you are spot on. I think that the point was to show that Rommel and McCain were both lionized by the(deep)state and Nazi Germany, respectively, as being a hero all the while they were working against the objectives and values of their countries. McCain was working for the ruling class and Rommel was working against the ruling class. If that makes sense!!
