Mass shooting - Jacksonville

Saying it might be related to gang shooting at high school football game Friday night?

I live just south of Jacksonville. I wish that I did not have to work today, because I would definitely go down there and check it out.

I was just wandering yesterday when the next drill/hoax will happen
it's been a few weeks sense the last one.

I live not too far from Jax. It's generally not a nice place.

The Landing is a sh*hole area. They have had a couple of shootings at The Landing in the last year.

This doesn't seem gang related, gangs generally don't care too much about video games.


This seems like it was a angry gamer, who wanted to take real like revenge into his own hands.


Maybe the shooter was a gamer who held a gamer grudge on the event?

Gamers are crazy people for sure, i can see them doing this because they weren't allowed to play in the tournament.

Early reports say three were shot inside Chicago Pizza and others may have been wounded in the gunfire.

Comments talk about retaliation for a Gang shooting that happened Friday at a local High School. Jacksonville is a rough town - I was stationed there for a while myself. Orange Park. Unlike most other Florida cities, Its got a deep south feel.

My handle was initially "Jane Smith". It is part of a joke, as my husband and I are both martial artists, friends joke that we are like John and Jane Smith from the film, "Mr, and Mrs. Smith". The "Lady" part came later, as former member Martian Princess, used to call me "Lady Jane Smith". It just kinda of stuck, so I went ahead and changed my handle.

Jacksonville has always had a "thug" feel it - lots of urban refuse left over from a deep south way of life if you know what I mean.
