Vietnam wants compensation from Monsanto for Agent Orange

Can't say I blame them, however... being unlucky enough to be on the receiving end of the American war making machine strongly tends to have negative consequences whether you win, lose, or draw in the end.

That said, Monsanto has a perfectly sound legal defense in that the mix of 2,4,5-Trichlorophenoxyacetic acid and 2,4-Dichlorophenoxyacetic acid that makes up what is commonly known as Agent Orange is an 'off label use' concocted by the US government and never intended by Monsanto therefore the logical target of a suit for damages is the US government, good luck with that. Who knows? You may get lucky and receive some token payment.

All military who went in there were exposed to it too.
They are also entitled to compensation or their families, if they have passed on.

I've known a fellow who was bravely and strongly clinging to life from the cancers this stuff caused.

I knew some old timer Air Force guys that would get together once a year from the same squadron. Every year they would talk about how this stuff was affecting them more and more.

My dad served in Vietnam and his body was riddled with cancer before he died from it. Vietnam veterans families should receive compensation from Monsanto WAY before the Vietnamese do.
