Entry level positions. I start them higher than minimum wage, full benefits, paid holidays and time off.

So basically, people fresh out of school, newly back to the workforce and felons who can't find work.

It's ENTRY LEVEL. Not asking for skills, and most have none when they are hired. You'd be surprised at what all shows up for work. Even more surprised at how few even make it 3 full days.

Lol, it's comical really. The work is there, they just don't want it.

I had a guy who started last week. Only worked a couple days. He came to me and asked where the ice was. I said, what ice? He said ice for my water.

Lol, then he proceeded to inform me OSHA would not be happy to know I didn't provide him ice for his water.

That was the last day I employed him.

It's frustrating but also entertaining.

Why don't you go jump your fat ass on one of those fork lisfts or do what your employees do instead of sitting in your office all day flicking your bean! You wouldn't last a week doing what your employees do.

Suggestions? How about hiring young legal citizen? There are PLENTY of young Americans who are seeking jobs and cant find them. Heck, there are even young COLLEGE GRADS who are working fast food jobs because they cant find a job in their profession! They would much rather work entry-level labor jobs than work an embarrassing job like fast food.

Hire the sons and daughters of LEGAL US CITIZENS. There are plenty to choose from.

.....all 3 were Latino. All 3 had fraudulent documents.

What really pisses me off is, unless you're a professional document reader, it can be very difficult to tell.

I hired a young Mexican girl a couple years ago who has really educated me on the tactics they use and how to spot a fraudulent document.

Employers can do their due diligence yet still recieve a fine for accepting fake papers. The fake paper holder, gets off Scott free.

Any other employers run into this?

the flip side of this is if you are white male they will take your totally legit documents and deny them. they are totally obviously just looking for some little thing to reject, I mean it's like they've been taught to do this specifically for straight white christian males.
