I think originally was “Luke, I am your father.” I was 9/10 when empire came out. Saw it at least 5 times that summer, as my neighbors mother had a serious crush on Harrison Ford. Lol.

The original star wars trilogy was re-mastered and re-done.

In the original, C3pio had two gold legs. However, that did not match the story line so in the re-master one was edited to silver. Then Disney bought the franchise and made so many changes the beautiful Ewok song has been replaced with a new age flute piece, and many other things, as well as this.

You did not hear any edit. There are simply two published versions.

My position is that anything you see regarding this story on television is staged with crisis actors. Who hired them or crafted this story and for what purpose; I care not, but fabricated whole-cloth, it is.

I saw this in NYC on opening week in a theater when I was 10 or 11. This VHS rip is how I saw it. The acting and editing is SHIT, but effective. This is 100% authentic.
