Well, logic and semantics go right out the window, so there's no point in the arguments about scenarios.

What stops me personally from taking it seriously is that it's an escapist mindset, not unlike the 'let go and let God' religious point of view...

...unless you're able to realize that your own will can shape aspects of your reality.

It's damaging to think there are no consequences, and if you believe it's all a simulation, you may also think there's a reset button.

It doesn't make it mysterious, of course. Energy is fundamental. It is probably the most fundamental aspect of existence.

Further, if energy is the most fundamental aspect of existence (i.e., something using energy to exist), could we say that energy=perspective is not improbable?

If not improbable, would it be reasonable to say that we do not really have an understanding of either energy or perspective?

I'm not so skilled at answering vague questions, but I'll try.

But seriously, what do you mean by it?

Perhaps this is a kind of reflection of sorts.

Memories are not stored anywhere. Why would they need to be? Storage would only hinder the process, I think.

Why do you want something to be special?

Grades are always entertaining. That's why "top 10" lists are so popular. That's why numbers are so attractive. We're drawn to efficient representations that appear obvious but are kind of meaningless.



Let's thought-experiment it.

Imagine that an alien from a highly-advanced world came to Earth and was presented with an IQ test, and was given one hour to complete it.

The maximum score was 147 and the minimum was 0.

How relevant or meaningful do you think its score might be?

What do you personally think its score might be?

Clowns have more wisdom than we given them credit for.

Somewhere, this is some poor soul at the other end of the IQ spectrum. A marine biology study determined the IQ of oysters to be between 2-3. I doubt you can go much lower than that and still be considered alive.
