Superbugs are in the air: People are breathing in antibiotic resistant genes in major cities around the world, reveal scientists
The genes which cause bacteria to become immune to medication – antibiotic resistant genes (ARGs) – are able to move between different bacteria and also from bacteria into the environment, experts say.

And research by the American Chemical Society revealed scientists have found the airborne genes in farms and parks in America.
...
Antibiotic resistance is a spreading global problem which means once easily-treatable infections could become superbugs that cannot be cured.

Figures estimate these superbugs – which develop from people overusing or wrongly using antibiotics – will kill 10 million people a year by 2050.
...
The World Health Organisation has warned the world could enter a 'post-antibiotic' era in which medicines no longer work as bacteria become tougher and tougher.

This is the biggest ticking time bomb for humanity.

The antibiotics/superbug "bubble".

We've advanced bacteria thousands of years beyond our own immune system adaptations and the piper is about to come calling...

Thanks for the pin!

Imagine all of the little ones who make it through childhood because of antibiotics.......... That is what comes to my mind, but what also came to my mind is why it is imperative that mothers breast feed so that they pass their antibodies to their children.

I think so as well, not even in our Nation it is tinkered with.

Maybe this is the part where all the people who could not afford any health insurance and were working with enough income to not qualify for welfare health care, will have a better chance of evading it.

I have had antibiotics 3 times in the last 30 years, none were modern forms of it and over any length of time.
The longest was for pneumonia by IV until I took it out and walked out AMA to fill in for another worker when his daughter was shot in the head in TN.

The other 2 times was clindamycin for dental work.

It's going to be a future where either the sheltered or super healthy survive. I can imagine people wearing masks and gloves all the time and sanitation chambers. I wonder if it will come to that.

Have known about this for a while now. Folks thinking of elective surgeries better get 'em soon b/c we are quickly (if not already there) approaching a time where a hospital is NOT where you want to be unless you absolutely cannot avoid it.

We've been compromised over the yrs w/ environmental toxins, franksteined food (including all the antibiotics and hormones fed to CAFA livestock) and big pharma's push to pump as many damn drugs into our bodies whether we need 'em or not.
And thought struggles against the results, trying to avoid those unpleasant results while keeping on with that way of thinking. That is what I call 'sustained incoherence.' ...David Bohm

My late in-laws told me about one of their friends that boasted that he never got sick. It was because he took an antibiotic pill everyday.

He got a bad infection, no antibiotic would work and he died.

That and other "common" now assaults on the body is why we are getting a new helper and trying to find $5-6,000 asap to grow into our market demand. USA bug stompers, detoxers and kratom are thundering along.
We just ordered more packaging and I bet we go through 100lbs of elderberries this year. We are thinking we will have somebody short-term invested and if they like the access and returns, keep letting them play a card in crops. Like miniature stock market. Base prices are flexible upward with market changes.
We still need several herb farms too. We have been converting to all US resources since 2015.
BigPharma keeps pandering for more money but isn't getting it by antibiotics and lots more people are making botanicals a staple. We were handling 600 species.

Fulvic acid is like eating dirt. Not Folic, Fulvic. Comes from ancient peat moss bogs in the Himalayas. It is not known to combat MRSA though.

Viral phages will be the next drugs. They inject their dna into the bad bacteria and kill it. Russia making lots of headway in this regard.

I honestly think we need to step back and reassess everything. If we have a bacteria infection problem, why not boost the immune system? We need to give our bodies the ammunition it needs.

It is this progression of things that ends up going Frankenstein just like this liberal society. We need to know when to stop.
