There is a post in red-it talking about how the boyfriend and the parents do not seem to get along and the boyfriend looks at them odd. He also refuses to wear the bracelet they had made up to show support for her.

Plus the boyfriend has not spoken of her in past tense but her mother and brothers have

Here is part of the red it post. less that 50% of it.

. These are just some things I’ve noticed. The parents seem very bizarre when speaking during interviews. Giggling in each others’ ears off to the side.....not the least bit emotional at all. You’d never suspect the mother has a missing child! And let’s not forget the strained/negative relationship mollie has with her mother and brothers.........and guess who would have first hand knowledge about said negative relationships? Who would know better than anyone how mollies relationships with her mother and brothers really were? The boyfriend! He seems to not be too fond of mollies parents. He barely speaks to them. Hell, he barely even looks at them! I think this is incredibly telling. I also found it strange that mollies brothers were not part of the recent interview.

this is a post on that same twitter from July 2017 Mollie didn't write it but she retweeted it.
"just a friendly reminder that what you see on social media isn’t everything. it’s highlights. we all have messy areas in our life that get tucked away and aren’t put out on display. so next time you find yourself comparing yourself to others, just remember that no one is perfect."

So yeah, Mollie was escaping some kind of domestic violence. Hopefully dad hid her far away and she's not dead at the hands of the brother.

Re: RE: the missing Iowa girl.....
They need to take a close look at younger brother she shares a vehicle with. Not a huge deal but his Facebook has zero pictures mention of his sister. Not even after going missing.

Her eye glasses, contacts, wallet left behind but phone was taken. This to me seems like someone took it to cover up calls or texts. This is an elementary understanding of LE ability to access records.

She was supposed to use the car and he said she didn't call. Not huge, but if I was supposed to give a ride or share a car I would have gone to the house. He blew it off

Previous sibling rivarly mentioned. Not saying he is a suspect or guilty just odd.

The father of 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts, who vanished nearly three weeks ago, speculated Monday in an interview with Fox News that his daughter was caught in "some kind of misunderstanding" with someone she knows.

"My two cents is that no one went into that house to hurt her," Rob Tibbetts told the television station, adding he believes she "left willingly with someone she knows."

Calling it "totally speculation on my part," he told the station he thought there was "some kind of a misunderstanding about the nature" of the relationship between the two.

"And at this point, they don't know how to get out from under this," he said.

I get the feeling that the family knows what happened and the BF knows they do but has no proof yet and is waiting on them to slip up.
My bet is the brother did something and Mom helped him then later brought dad into it. It could have been an accident or a fight that got out of hand.

Reddit has a thread with sensible, plausible explanations.

Most likely LE think she's alive and in a hostage-type situation likely with someone she might know or have seen before. Hence the increasing size of the reward money.

The man living next to the pigless farm (no pigs in residence) was assumed to have known something as that's where her device was found. He passed the lie detector test.

Mollie went to her Dad's wedding when he got remarried. They have a close relationship.

Hence there's likely a lot of strain with her brothers who did not attend. Same with Mollie and her mother.

Does Mollie's Dad like her boyfriend? Mollie's going to college, her boyfriend isn't. She's encountering a lot of young men, actually men of all ages. Would that be causing issues?

I was summarizing the info I read yesterday on Reddit. They have several extremely detailed threads solely on Mollie. Would link it but I don't know if GLP allows Reddit links.

"Farmer who has repeatedly been questioned admits to taking polygraph test."

If he failed the tester would have known immediately and he would not have admitted taking the polygraph.

[link to www.foxnews.com]

Here's one of the more informative articles linked from Reddit, saying an FBI ex-Profiler believes Mollie went off in a car with someone she knew.

Listen here from about 7:30 until 8:00 or so. The mom states she and Mollie texted until about 7:30 pm and that Mollie told her she was going for a run and then would be over for dinner. Why doesn't the interviewer then ask the mom "And did Mollie show up for dinner?" To which one would presume the answer would be no, thereby setting up the next question, "And didn't you text her again to find out why she didn't show up for dinner?" But the interviewer just goes on to something else. Weird line of questioning. Also, if you watch more of it, earlier the mom says "when mollie left" and then corrects herself to say, "when mollie went missing". And the interviewer also missed a question with the boyfriend when asking about the snap that was sent on snapchat. Instead of focusing on the time (which they can't seem to verify when it was sent, only that he opened it at 10:00 pm) why doesn't the interviewer follow up with the next logical question of "what did her snap say?" Too many unanswered questions. Praying she is safe, wherever she is.

I didn't know this, sorry if I missed it:

Dave Collum, a retired maintenance director for the Brooklyn-Guernsey-Malcom school district, tells the Associated Press that he was interviewed by investigators who told him that data from Tibbetts’ Fitbit showed she jogged past his home that evening and made it home from the run safely. He says investigators told him she was doing homework on her computer later that evening.
 Quoting: A1Janitor

If she made it home after her run, then someone must have come to her door afterwards. Did someone spot her and wait until the middle of the night when she was likely asleep?

Not if the dogs were locked in the basement. Therefore it had to be someone she recognized but whom the dogs did not, a non-relative.

Likely that she went out with him late in the evening? Doubt she would have secured the dogs unless she knew she was coming back very shortly. Just my guess.
