Senior Forum Moderator 07/12/2018 03:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Normal behavior for what? Quoting: Stray Cat I have no idea what this video is showing. I clicked through to youtube, and there is no explanation there either. I do not know either... Did you record this? Yes. The change in direction is interesting. I don't see a change in direction. It looks like a satellite pass to me. I see it taking what appears to be an arcing trajectory across the sky as one would expect for a satellite... The video appears to be quite old judging by the time stamp on the video, so it's not going to be easy to positively ID the objects so long after the fact, but without more information about where you were when you recorded it (and the time zone of the time stamp in the video), it's definitely not possible to positively ID them. I might be able to hack together a solution later by making a mosaic out of the frames as the camera pans around but that'll take a lot more time and may still not yield satisfactory results. Quoting: Dr. Deplorable Astromut I will post more video tomorrow. Maybe that can help. Thank you. Elmer |
