VIDEO: Man brutally attacks female restaurant cook — quickly turns tail when he gets concealed handgun to the face

Well, that escalated and then deescalated quickly.

Hope they caught the guy. But his mom will say. "He is a good boy. A very good boy."

Question: could the woman with the gun have legally shot him? I’m assuming so because she was clearly in danger.

But, she is obviously a very responsible gun owner because she restrained herself and used it as a deterrent rather than a deadly weapon.

Don't pull your gun if you're not going to fire. It's not to be used as a deterrent. Hell, I'd bet you that dumb woman could be charged with drawing in affray.

She fucked up, if you feel threatened enough that you have to draw your weapon it's at the point you should shoot.

Drawing your weapon is the last thing you do when all else has failed, and when pulled you shoot, and shoot to kill. Now this guy is out there still mad and who knows what he may do. Is he looking for the right time to pay this women back for facing him down? Is he somewhere hurting someone else? Who knows, when in this situation you shoot and then the cops know exactly where the attacker is and you know for sure that they aren't out trying to hurt anyone else.

This isn't a black or white thing it's basic CCW teaching, if you feel threatened enough to pull it, shoot, and shoot to kill... This is why you should try any and everything else before you act.
