Can't have a nation when the point and purpose of being a citizen of a particular nation is rendered completely meaningless and the one true point to your existence on this Hell on Earth is to shut up and work endlessly just to make some illegal immigrant rich and influential over you with amazing ease while you toil away in obscurity and permanent illness(es).

You could move to a sanctuary city, and pretend to be an illegal alien.

You can currently get a California drivers license with no proof of birth or citizenship.

I've never needed the protection of the US military. I could care less about excursions on foreign soil. Plus, I would never be drafted.

If I wanted to be a politician, I'd probably be some type of criminal to begin with.

I've been overseas dozens of times, and I've never stepped foot in a US embassy.

My point is that we have a huge problem in this country. I actually want to be a citizen, but I want it to mean something. I don’t mind paying taxes, but I want it to benefit people - not politicians and leeches.

As of right now, the benefits of being an illegal far outweigh being a citizen.
