Does this guy bring up the fact that studies have shown that mushroom assist in hemoglobin/red cell production, and removing of radiation metals, etc. etc. ....... Does he bring up this fact and tell us why it is no longer the case?

Or does he ignore it as if these studies don't exist?

The answer to this question goes a long way in determining his credibility.
