If you get banned and you don't know why, try this:

Join the Chatroom ( upper rightmost menu item )

( You don't have to use your GLP login-email/password - just make a sensible one - any password will do (not sure what the password is for - subsequent chat logins?)

Locate a mod you know

send a Private Message and ask honestly and politely for an unban.

You will be queried (SHR and the mods are no dupes!)

Be honest, polite and sincere.

My scenario - I get new IPs randomly from my DSL provider and got one from California this AM - ( I am in NM!! strange ISP I have..) and can't renew them unless I shut off my DSL modem for 24 + hours which isn't practical for me, but SHR was knowledgeable and took care of the ban. Apparently the former IP owner spammed the site the night before, probably why the IP was released and another random subscriber got it (me) .


I have heard a lot of complaining here about getting banned and how much they dislike the mods, but seriously - be nice, be honest, be truthful and they WILL take care of you.

WELL THAT EXPLAINS IT!

I was watching this show the other day on prison tattoos and they showd this guy's back with the huge letters SHR right in the middle. Now while I thought this guy looked tough enough to be SHR I had to wonder how could he be moderating 24/7 while behind bars? :)
