Harold camping actually had a pretty interesting theory. He was calculating the times between festivals in the Hebrew calendar and used prophecy and it was actually pretty plausible. He could even be right but clearly off on his calculations. I recommend this book it was interesting reading

He was wrong more than once and thus was a false prophet. There is only one standard for judging a so-called prophet. He must be right 100% of the time.

No, he totally failed. There is no mathematical formulas that can be used to determine when the Rapture will happen. Jesus told us that no one knows when this will happen, except for God himself. A man like Mr. Camping isn't divine the mind of God by trying devine dates from scriptures that he clearly did not understand.

If you are in a church or a belief that follows Mr. Camping you need to come out of it and repent. It is a pathway to Hell and eternal torment. The man clearly did not understand the scriptures or he wouldn't have been trying to predict dates and times and showing himself a false prophet (profit).
