Houston is pretty ghetto. It looks and feels like a prison. Air even smells, oily, synthetic. It is is a hell hole.

The freeways with their 10 story high concrete sound barrier, plain, ugly, walls make the whole place feel like a prison. I have also never seen so many prostitutes, crazy people, druggies, and homeless people wandering the streets. Mostly black too in that predicament. There is a simple solution to these "copy-cat" school mass shootings. Ban the publication of the identity of the murderer.

Publication bans are common in Canada and other countries, albeit not towards mass shooters as they're uncommon here.

It is routine to mask the identity of many accused and victims of crimes.

Media outlets and reporters who contravene publication bans (usually not intentionally) are normally severely sanctioned and/or prosecuted, similar to a felony in the U.S.

Once these copy-cat mass murderers realize nobody will know who perpetrated these crimes, then being tried and executed in anonymity...the incidence of these events would drop off dramatically.

I'd recommend a military-style Court Marshall of these enemy combatants whose intention is to terrorize our society.
