Quoting: janedoenut Eagle, Star and Emmett are nice places to be as is the panhandle but they are quite different in terms of living experience. The panhandle north of Coeur d'Alene sucks now with the new highway and Super 1. Enjoy your new life, keep Idaho nice and don't believe the locals if they try to convince you that saying "right on, right on" is a thing. Get used to saying I'm going to N.A.P.A. for auto parts. You must be right down the street. Howdy neighbor! |

They don't drive like assholes in CA, for the most part. 3. I touched my first suppressor. 4. I visited 4 gun shops...wow. 5. CA DMV registration = $654 per year 6. ID DMV registration = $57 per year 7. CA electricity costs = .23 cents and up 8. ID electricity costs = .08 I would describe myself as Libertarian for the most part and felt like I was home for the first time in years. EDIT:....I'll be moving in my new home by the 8th of June,...right before I had to register my semi-automatic firearms here in The Democratic Peoples Republic of California. |

Deep snow and cold in the winter Beautiful summers People are friendly but private and armed to the teeth (just like Texas) If you have any lib views-keep them to yourself and don't be any kind of crusader for any side - people there like things just the way they are Fishing and hunting is great Lots of hiking and camping if you are into that Have you EVER been to Boise? Its basically Portland 2.0, the liberal 20’s are cancerous. |

I've lived on and off in Oregon most of my life, but have spend many weeks all around the great state of Idaho. Probably moving there within the next decade, too, if the liberal bullshit continues moving east of Portland, OR...and it appears to be doing just that. We're potentially up against a gun-grabbing ballot measure come November...and I'm not happy about it. One thing I love about Idaho, aside from incredible nature and landscapes, is the serious commitment to 2A that seems to come from every nook and cranny of the state. It's fucking inspiring, I'll tell you, coming from a state that once wasn't a liberal shithole (much of it still isn't, but Portland, Eugene, Salem, et al are lost). I love the American spirit that's alive and well in Idaho. Last Edited by Cactus31 on 05/21/2018 02:25 AM Liberty or Death. I really just want to be left the fuck alone. CA politicians and liberal zombies can't help but try and control and tax everything under the sun. "Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. Any dumb son of a bitch that thinks tyrannical socialism is so great,..move your ass to California. California used to be an excellent State,....no more. I have lived her almost 47 years, (my whole life).....it's lost and NOT because I support these pricks.....I have fought enough and I'm getting tired of trying to compete with the flood of illegals that turned the State blue....most native Californians did not "convert" to socialism....it's taught in the Universities and brought in by fucking immigrants that vote blue 2-1.
