ID electricity costs = .08 I would describe myself as Libertarian for the most part and felt like I was home for the first time in years. EDIT:....I'll be moving in my new home by the 8th of June,...right before I had to register my semi-automatic firearms here in The Democratic Peoples Republic of California. Oh, and I plan on acquiring an enhanced concealed weapon license asap. I'm on my second CCW here in CA. EDIT: Moved into our new home on June the 8th. Home and area is beautiful, people are friendly and it's not 115 degrees. So far so good. It took almost getting a divorce to get my wife to move out of Kalifornia,...now she really feels good about moving. The neighbors came by and introduced themselves....a very nice change compared to CA. I like the down to earth vibe very much. So it's 8/20/2018, (update). It gets better and better here everyday. I don't miss CA at all, (except family and friends). I got a year membership at a sick gun range in Meridian, love it. Got my Idaho CWL, (concealed weapons license), and need to wait a few more months before I get my enhanced. My kids came and visited,. Took them to McCall and spent the day on the lake, (no fucking druggies or a-hole's everywhere like CA). Spent about 2 hours at the gun range firing automatic and suppressed rifles and pistols with my son. We both took turns on the Barrett 50 Cal rifle, (good lord almighty)!!!....almost blew my hat off. Picked up a gen 5 Glock 19 and was out the door in about 10 minutes, (no 10 day wait shit). Ordering a suppressor tomorrow for my LWRC and Tavor SAR. Took the shitty CA bullet button crap off my rifels and added a couple Gemtech compatible Lantac Dragon compensators. Restaurants are great and there's shit ton of things to do around here. People are friendly as long as you don't act like an entitled prick. It's nice to be treated like a damn adult! Meanwhile CA continues it's downward slide. God bless Idaho! Eagle, Star and Emmett are nice places to be as is the panhandle but they are quite different in terms of living experience. The panhandle north of Coeur d'Alene sucks now with the new highway and Super 1. Sold my house, packed up my kids and pets, stopped at the border just over the Colorado River by Needles, and gave Cali the finger. Goodbye, assholes.
