What is the best way to cope with spiritual exhaustion??

I have long waited for the world to change (2012, etc) and in every way have tried to be of service to others and to do the best I can spiritually.

Lately I have started to doubt my spiritual beliefs because life is getting more and more difficult and I am beginning to think that the awaited changes are never going to happen.

I feel tired of life and feel myself losing my faith.
