Promoting Interracial Marriages

I am married to a black woman, and I am white. Obviously, I don't have a problem with interracial marriages. What difference does it make to you what they show on commercials or tv programming? It's a given that this is a small percentage of relationships, and there is no threat to you in yer marriage. So what if they make such a big deal out of something that happens in life? That's on you if you apply it to your life. Just ignore it.

Concerning advertisers, I said this yesterday in a similar thread and I'll say it again today. The only color advertisers are truly concerned about is GREEN. A biracial couple represents the black and white consumer instead of pandering to one race. Remember the old black Burger King and McDonald,s commercials? They would target blacks EXCLUSIVELY in certain ads. Others would be accused of not showing ENOUGH blacks in their ads. The biracial couple solves this marketing dilemma and covers both demographics.

I'm more concerned with the commercials that show the male as an idiot in every other one you watch, or pushing the homo agenda. Both of those have underlying agendas, but I don't think the biracial ones do other than widening their target market IMHO.
