She was having her after school snack, discussing the state budget crisis and teacher walk out with me (she's a smart one for her age), and out of the blue she says "We're in the end times you know". I asked her why she thought that, and she said in the end times there will be trumpets. I have heard that here on this forum before so I agreed that people believe this. Her exact words were "so you think it's just some coincidence the world's falling apart and our President's name is Trump. That's half of TRUMPet, mom.". Is my kid really coming up with this kind of stuff on her own?! Like, I'm impressed and also terrified. We really might be in the end times!
