I'm from California, visited friends in Idaho...guess what? | |

Quoting: Solid Soul They invited me and my wife to Idaho to visit them and experience the area and see the new home. I have been wanting to leave CA for years but never had an idea of where else I would want to live. Wow, I have to tell you...I loved it there. I didn't feel on edge while visiting the downtown area and the people were awesome. Friendly is a poor word to describe the excellent demeanor of the locals. I saw many American flags all over the place. The 4 of us ate at Beverly's restaurant at the Coeur d'Alene Resort....holy s*it...the best food I have ever had in my life. I thought to myself...what the hell am I still doing in CA? Yes, it's cold but beautiful beyond what I imagined. Oh and by the way, I visited a normal gun store......what a breath of fresh air!!!....in CA if you visit a gun store, you almost feel like you just snuck into a porno shop or something...like it's dirty and immoral....not in Coeur d'Alene....you feel like an American! As soon as we landed back in CA, I started to feel irritated being here again. The people in my area are pretty cool and slow as CA goes but it dosen't compaire to Idaho. I have a couple "evil rifles" I'll be moving to a buddy's house up there to keep out of the politicians dick-beaters here. I think in the next few years I may be moving up there. Anybody on this site that lives there...you're very lucky. Nice. That's what these liberals do not understand. All they know is the coast, no American flags, and the msm. No wonder they think they are in the majority but they are mistaken. |

Other than that I think it's a very safe place to be, such a scenario is virtually 0% to occur. Still eating the crust off Hillary's dirty diaper, I see. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76098505 I don't remember seeing any. I think i would have remembered. I saw a few Asians and a couple black people. I understand a lot of retired law enforcement and fire fighters live there. Idaho apparently has a reputation for low tolerance for any law breaking bullshit. Most of the homeless stay on the Washington side and commit a lot of petty crime in Spokane. "Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. It's actually a very nice area of CA, about 1.2 hours away from Lake Tahoe...lots of snow/water sports and restaurants to name a few. "Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. Anybody on this site that lives there...you're very lucky. I'm in Boise and I love it. Beautiful. Safest 0lace I've ever lived. I can't think of a better city to raise kids in. My Dad grew up here but as an engineer with IBM we lived in San Jose, Lexington Kentucky, then the longes5 spot was Tucson Arizona then PrescottAZ. Prescott was fantastic but Idaho is by far more beautiful. |
