That may be why Trump is bringing in John Bolton. From what I have read elsewhere, it does make sense because of his extensive knowledge over this matter.

Sure Bolton is a good guy. Bolton is his pit bull but Trump has him on a short leash. Bolton is the bad ass bad cop and Trump is the smiling good cop because our enemies need to be reminded how bad ass we are. Yeah, he said it during the campaign. I was very relieved when he didn't appoint him. They talked about it a lot on the Greg Gutheil show. Bolton was a guest on the show.

Well if we’re going to go to war , might as well have somebody good at it.

I actually had no idea Bolton was part of the CFR and Skull and Bones. That just makes Trump's appointment that much worse.

Because the Bush administration was so "good" at it?

I was pretty disappointed when he appointed Haley but I figured it was just a UN ambassador, how much harm can she really do? I figured that position Is pretty much a mouth piece.

But Bolton, in my mind, is far more dangerous appointment. The National Security Advisor funnels all the info from various department heads and then presents that info to the President. It's an extremely powerful position, especially if he is able to persuade Trump on foreign policy. I'm thinking Bolton will have quite a bit of influence over how Trump proceeds. One reason being that Bolton strokes Trump's ego.

Ummm well, I guess that's definitely looking for the silver lining.
