My Holodeck program would be the outdoor Apollo 11 studio where they filmed the fake moon landing @ Area 51 - Groom Lake. Yeah. Both Tron movies are seriously underrated. One thing the Tron movies did excellently was present an existential crisis unlike any others before.

This existential crisis being if sentient electronic beings can be born out of literal nothingness in a blank computer program, or almost blank computer program then just how did Humanity just pop into existence and become the most dominant lifeform on Earth almost instantly compared to all other animal life on Earth.

How would both Humanity and these sentient electronic lifeforms take to the knowledge that neither species are all alone in the Universe? How would this knowledge permanently alter Humanity's perception and knowledge of the Known Universe so far? There are mountain ranges of pertinent questions to the Tron movies, man. The purpose of the holo deck on the Starfleet vessels is primarily for entertainment to ease the stress of being space bound.

I would prefer to use it with a variety of programs to recreate and take part on historical events like for example Taking part on a known medieval sword fight battle, or exploring several versions of different outcomes of historical events, stuff like that.

I would also program some leisure like a fishing trip or a camping trip. Definitely some other kind of leisure like OPs censored would be on the menu, but not as first choice.

It has also huge educational potential for surgical skills, I would love to learnt surgery skills without the risk of killing a real patient.
