This is why the basic human group is a man, woman, and children.
There's responsibilities. Biological responsibilities.
If you're a young male, and there's nothing wrong with you, you need to learn martial arts and basic rifle/handgun handling. It's your god given job to protect those weaker than you.
Fuck any society that denies violence, firearms, competition, or physical dominance. If you deny those things, than someone or some group will one day show up and be able to take anything from you, or force you to do anything.

But don't act like its some kind of a lifestyle choice, you're just choosing not to personally deal with a fact of life. Violence and confrontation is a possibility, and if you have anyone in your life you care about, these issues should matter to you.
