I believe in defending your own family, to be honest. As much as I want to adhere to the school of being peaceful at all times, I think I could easily kill without hesitation someone who immediately threatened the life of someone I loved. But that would be a last resort type of situation. Doing that would probably be a traumatic experience.

In times of peace you prepare for war. Those who don’t suffer the consequences of war as war is always on it way. Either days or years or decades it’s always coming. With that said, we pay way too much for our military, it’s not needed. What we pay now is extremely over priced in every possible way. We don’t need hundreds of global bases, we don’t need nearly a trillion in annual military spending. We don’t need an aircraft that costs 1.5 trillion over its lifetime. Our military will bankrupt our nation, no one is invading us. We need to downsize, spending should be domestically focused. What doesn’t need to be spend should be used to remove our deficit.

It’s astounding how no one in government is alarmed by our debt levels or deficits. When interest rates inevitably go up to curb the next wave of inflation this economy will tank like a roll of lead. You cannot make payments on this level of debt if interest rates go up to 5-6-7-8-9% hell if they ever hit the 80’s level of 20-22% we would go bankrupt in a month just paying the interest.

We as a nation will be filing for bankruptcy and defaulting on our debt in the not too distant future. What happened to Greece and Argentina will be like a drop in the bucket compared to when it hits us. How any government can spend trillions over their income each year and expect it never to come back to them is insanity. We are a republic who is being robbed blind by our politicians who are funneling this money to their pals.

When a simple website like Obamacare costs almost $2,000,000,000 to make you know it’s time to end this charade. This will end in soup lines and poverty for Americans for generations. No retirements, no government pensions, social security will be enough to cover your food if you’re lucky. By this point government will be banking on the old dying off to spare them from having to fund the SS Ponzi scheme which is now 3 payers per every collector and will be 2 payers per collector in the next 5 years. When we first created SS it was 159 payers per every 1 collector
