The bible is NOT consistent in who/what it is referring to when referring to god. The god of the bible makes contradicting statements.

The biblical god claims to be Love and Compassion, then orders his followers to kill all living things in an "enemy" village, excluding the virgins, whom they are to rape and marry.

Tropical storm Domoina hit over November-December 1984, at least, in my reality.
The reason I know, is because it was talked about for VERY specific reasons.
One week before I was born, my parents were visiting my mom's parents. News of the possible severity made them to make the 5 hour trip home. My father watched a car in front of us go down nose-first at an overflow, and disappear. Having nowhere to go, he had to follow. We made it.
The final bridge before heading into town (where we lived and I was born), nobody in front of us, water over bridge looked calm. We made it halfway when the river opened up. We barely made it. Car behind us didn't.
I do believe something didn't want me to be born. This is not the only story I have on this.
